About us













I'm Audrey, the owner, and manager of Beech Hill Nursery School. I am originally from Zambia and have been in the childcare industry since 1982 running my own nursery in Saudi Arabia for nine years, before teaching in Borneo and at the International School in Bandar Seri Begawan in Brunei, Southeast Asia where I had the privilege to teach one of the Sultan's daughters.

I moved from Oxford to Sheffield with my husband and children and opened Beech Hill on the 25th of September 1995. I have three sons and a daughter, eight grandsons, and four granddaughters. 

I enjoy studying and have a Montessori Teaching Diploma as well as a BA (Hons) Degree from the University of Sheffield.













I'm Louise. I started work at Beech Hill nursery on the 9th of November 1999. During my time here, I have worked my way through various roles including room leader, senior nursery nurse, and assistant deputy manager to my current position. I'm currently the room leader of the Panda room but I have also worked in the Monkey and Tiger rooms. I am a very creative person and love finding new ways for the children to create various pieces of artwork. I also enjoy doing displays of this work for everyone to see.  I am quite distinctive as I have a full tattoo sleeve, pierced lip and at the minute purple hair, all of which spark interest and conversation from the children I look after. 













Hi, I'm Laura. I'm the assistant deputy manager and room leader in the baby room (bunnies). I have worked at Beech Hill since July 2003. While working at Beech Hill I attended university and now have a BA Hons in early years education. Outside of nursery I love holidays and travelling. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. 













Hi I'm Joanna, I have worked at Beech Hill since 2002. During my time at nursery, I have worked in all of the different rooms, so I have experience with all age groups. I am currently the room leader in the pre-school room (Tigers). I have two children a thirteen-year-old and a seven-year-old, so they take up a lot of my time outside of nursery, I do enjoy walking and reading when I do get some free time though. 













Hi I'm Claire, I have worked at Beech Hill for twenty years starting at the age of sixteen as a student and working up to a senior role. I enjoy the job I have caring for the children and have worked in all of the rooms throughout the years. I am currently the room leader of the Monkey room which is great fun and I enjoy doing lots of different activities and getting messy. I have two children aged ten and nine. I enjoy going to new places as a family, going to the cinema, and watching my children do the activities they are involved in after school. 













I'm Nicole, I started at Beech Hill in 2008 as an apprentice gaining my NVQ level three in childcare and becoming a full-time member of staff. During my time at the nursery, I have worked in the Bunnies, Monkey's, and Tiger rooms. I love working in childcare and my favourite things to do with the children are arts and crafts and sensory play. I have three children of my own who keep me very busy when I'm not at work. 













My name is Nathan, I started at Beech Hill as an apprentice in 2009 and completed both my level two and three NVQ's in childcare here. I really enjoy nurturing the children and helping them to learn and develop new skills. I have three children at home who take up a lot of my time and I enjoy sports    (especially football). 













I'm Lokhari from Nepal. I have worked in the kitchen at Beech Hill since 2013, preparing the breakfasts and lunches of all of the children who attend nursery, making sure I meet their dietary requirements. I also clean the nursery in the evenings. Outside of nursery I enjoy baking and cooking for my family. 













I'm Emilie, I gained my NVQ level three qualification in childcare in July 2020 and started at Beech Hill in October of the same year. During my time at nursery, I have worked in the Tiger, Bunny, and Monkey rooms. 













Hi, my name is Leanne, I have worked at Beech Hill since May 2015. During my time at the nursery, I have worked mainly in the baby and Panda rooms. I currently work every day 8-2 as I have my own three children who are aged nine, seven, and two. I love baking when I get some free time.  













My name is Hazel and I have worked at Beech Hill Nursery since 2015. During my time at nursery, I have worked in the Panda, Bunny, and Tiger rooms. Before I started work at Beech Hill, I worked at another nursery for over twenty years this has now sadly closed. I have a range of experience including working with children with special needs and both senior and management roles. 













I'm Abigail, I've worked at Beech Hill since 2016 when I started as an apprentice. I have since finished my qualification and I am now a full-time member of staff. I have worked mainly in both the Monkey and Panda rooms during my time at nursery but have experience with all of the different age ranges. I am currently based in the Panda room. 













Hi I'm Kirsty, I have worked at Beech Hill Nursery for four years, and during this time I have worked in all of the rooms throughout the nursery. I am currently part of the baby room team working with children between the ages of three and eighteen months. In my spare time, I like to take my dogs for a walk and socialize with friends. 













I'm Imogen and I've been at Beech Hill since 2020. I'm currently studying health and social care at college and work at the nursery in my free time. I currently work in all of the rooms throughout the nursery. 













My name is Katie. I have worked at Beech Hill since the 6th of September 2021. I am currently working towards my NVQ Level two qualification in childcare, and I am based in the Panda room with children aged between two and three years of age. 













My name is Hannah. I have been at Beech Hill since September 2021 and I am currently working towards my NVQ level two before moving on to level three. I am currently based in the Monkey Room. I enjoy looking after the children every day, helping to support them with their development and getting them ready for the next room in nursery and making sure they are safe and comfortable in their surroundings. In my spare time I enjoy seeing my friends and attending football matches home and away as I am a big fan of Sheffield United. I'm Abigail, I've worked at Beech Hill since 2016 when I started as an apprentice. I have since finished my qualification and I am now a full-time member of staff. I have worked mainly in both the Monkey and Panda rooms during my time at nursery but have experience with all of the different age ranges. I am currently based in the Panda room.
